I had a new boss join recently, and during the get-to-know-you chat he asked what kind of music we all listen to. When it got to me, I proudly said I sometimes listen to classical baroque and an ‘older’ radio station in the car. You should’ve seen the faces. The twenty-somethings looked at me like I had just confessed to churning my own butter.
But according to today’s article, all of it counts. Mozart, Motown, Metallica or whatever the kids are yelling into their headphones these days. Turns out my so-called ‘old people music’ might actually be helping keep my brain younger than theirs. I’ll take that win.

At the same time, after a recent string of volatility, some investors appear to be stepping back into positions rather than staying sidelined. While the rally feels encouraging, the backdrop remains unfinished: inflation pressures, global growth concerns and elevated valuations are still in play.
